Landscape design
We design the garden you'll use.
Not the one that photographs well in month one. Plans built from your household's actual patterns — where the sun lands at 6pm, where the kids actually kick a ball, where you'd sit if there were somewhere to sit.
- Before we build
- 3D concept

Deliverables
What a design package contains.
01
Site analysis
Contour survey, sun path, existing trees worth keeping, drainage reality — the honest layer that decides everything above it.
02
Concept plan
Levels, zones and circulation, presented as a 3D walkthrough you can stand in before a spade touches soil.
03
Planting plan
Species, sizes at planting and at year five, and where each plant prefers Waikato's clay and humidity. Native-led, always.
04
Construction drawings
Dimensions, levels to fall, lighting circuits and materials schedules — the documents that make quotes comparable and builds accountable.
Philosophy
Design is mostly editing.
Most sections want one clear idea, not seven features. Our favourite projects remove as much as they add — a lawn reduced to a path, a slope turned into two generous terraces, four fruit trees instead of fourteen decorations.
Design fees typically start from NZ$3,400 for courtyard-scale work and NZ$6,500 for full-section plans, credited against construction when we build the result.
