Process
Slow where it matters.
The expensive decisions are the early ones, so we spend our pace there — sketch options get weeks, documentation gets precision, and site gets presence.
01ListeningA measured brief before any drawing: how you live, what the site says, what the budget honestly is.·
02Sketch optionsTwo or three genuinely different plans — not one idea wearing three hats. Each argued in card models.·
03DevelopmentThe chosen option gains structure, services and skin. Light studies lock the openings.·
04DocumentationFull drawing sets coordinated with engineers. Builders price certainty, not allowances.·
05ConsentWe manage the resource and building consent path, including any neighbour conversations.·
06Site attendanceRegular site visits through construction — the drawings' author is never a stranger on site.·
07Handover & aftercareA maintenance manual, a set of record drawings, and a standing invitation to call.·
Fees
Quoted as stages.
Fees are quoted stage by stage, so you can pause after sketch options or documentation if the project needs to wait — nothing is lost, everything is drawn. Typical full-service design through site attendance for residential work starts from NZ$38,000; civic work is tendered per brief.
